PVC, or polyvinyl chloride, is a plastic material that is completely non-toxic and odorless, posing no irritation to the skin or respiratory system. PVC toys are safe as long as no toxic substances are added during the manufacturing process. At Demeng Toy, we utilize rigid PVC, which is free from any toxic additives. PVC is widely used across various industries, including toys, construction materials, interior decoration, and even food packaging.
PVC materials are categorized into two types: rigid PVC and flexible PVC. Rigid PVC accounts for approximately two-thirds of the market, while flexible PVC represents the remaining one-third.
**Rigid PVC**
Rigid PVC products do not contain plasticizers, making them durable, easy to mold, non-brittle, and free from toxins or pollutants. Its applications are extensive, with the construction industry consuming the largest share at 60%, followed by packaging, toys, and other smaller sectors.
**Flexible PVC**
Flexible PVC contains plasticizers, making it prone to brittleness and less durable. Consequently, its usage is more limited, commonly applied in flooring, ceiling materials, and the surface layers of leather products.
