After a pause, another added, "That could be really cool—the contrast between Charlie Brown’s cuteness and the Oni mask’s intensity might make a unique PVC anime figure!" That spark turned into our core idea: a cartoon figure toythat blends Western and Eastern elements into a single art toy.

We dove into design sessions, sketching ways to integrate the Oni mask onto Charlie Brown’s head. Some drafts had the mask tilted dramatically, others more subtly—each iteration aimed to balance the playful cartoon character with the mask’s bold, mythical vibe. After narrowing down the best proportions, we 3D-printed a prototype. The first version had awkward sizing, so we tweaked the design and printed again. Once the structure felt right, we partnered with a professional toy manufacturer specializing in PVC anime figures. Their expertise helped refine the details, especially the coloring: we wanted Charlie Brown’s familiar yellow and black stripes to stay true, while the Oni mask’s red and black retained its traditional menace. After multiple test runs to perfect the hue balance, we landed on the final look.
