We were sitting around brainstorming for a new vinyl figure toy, and someone jokingly said, "What if we combine a cute little creature with a spooky skull?" That offhand comment sparked a chain reaction of ideas. We started picturing a character that could blur the line between adorable and slightly eerie.

The design process kicked off with a flood of rough sketches. Some concepts were too safe, others overly busy, but then inspiration struck: a pink, melting-haired skull character clutching a bright lollipop. We layered in more personality by giving it one standard eye and one fish-eye, instantly adding asymmetry and intrigue. But the real challenge lay in turning this wild idea into a tangible vinyl figure toy. Sculpting the melting hair texture required multiple attempts—we tested different viscosities and layering techniques to get that gooey, almost animated look. The shoes, too, went through revisions; we widened their silhouette and adjusted their height until they balanced the figure’s proportions perfectly. Even the lollipop’s size was fine-tuned to complement the skull’s proportions without overwhelming it.
