Yes. Send reference photography, an existing maquette, a 2D illustration or a 3D file and our sculptors will produce a 7 working day maquette for approval before any mold is poured. We read the cat's breed proportions, ear set, tail carriage, fur direction and eye shape as sculptural reference points. If the design is based on a third-party artwork or a licensed character, we sign a two-party NDA and a character likeness adaptation log before modeling begins, and we do not reproduce protected artwork without documented rights.

Production runs 70 to 100 days end to end. Artwork and brief confirmation takes 3 to 7 days, the 1:1 master sculpt and silicone mold build takes 12 to 18 days, casting setup and first-article pulls take 20 to 28 days, hand finishing and multi-tone black lacquer takes 18 to 25 days, and edition engraving, certificate printing and pre-shipment QC takes 5 to 8 days. Sea freight adds 25 to 40 days and air freight adds 3 to 5 days. Re-orders on the retained master mold complete in 35 to 50 days.

Cast statues are brittle and heavier than their size suggests, so every piece ships in a double-wall carton with a custom-cut EVA or molded EPS cradle, foam corner blocks and a moisture barrier film. Statues above 45 cm are shipped in a wooden crate with a plywood base plate. Each carton carries a handling label for the base, not the tail or head. Master cartons are rated for a 1.2 m carton-corner drop test and we can drop-ship pre-packed cartons direct to your gallery, Amazon FBA warehouse or interior-design DC.

Art statues are decorative objects rather than children's toys, but we still certify the surface chemistry because a statue is handled and displayed indoors. We test surface coatings to EN71-3 heavy-metal migration, CPSIA lead and phthalate limits, ASTM F963-23, California Prop 65 warning thresholds, and EU REACH and RoHS. We also issue a material safety data sheet for the resin and lacquer system, and a Sedex SMETA 4-Pillar ethical-trade audit report is available on request. If your statue is aimed at gift or family retail rather than gallery, we add the EN71-1 mechanical and EN71-2 flammability checks.

Four directions sell consistently. The Japanese lucky cat direction reinterprets maneki-neko with a raised paw and a gold coin, since the black cat is the protection variant of the traditional talisman. The Halloween and gothic direction uses arched back, slit eye and moon or pumpkin base props for seasonal retail. The art-deco and minimalist direction reduces the cat to a smooth geometric silhouette in matte black for interior-design channels. The realistic breed direction carries full fur direction and anatomy for collector editions. All four can share the same master mold with different base props and paint schemes.
