The Birth of a PVC Figure

While browsing classic animations and fantasy illustrations, our team was always drawn to characters with “hidden Contrasting Cuteness” — skeletons that looked tough but begged for quirky details. That’s when we decided to create an unconventional miniature action figure: starting with a basic skeletal frame, we added exaggerated spiral horns and a dynamically outstretched arm full of energy. This design retained the recognizable essence of classic skeletons while breaking conventions with its lively pose.

Material selection was the first step — we tested multiple PVC types and ultimately chose a high-quality, flexible yet durable variant to ensure the figure was both play-resistant and long-lasting. During the design phase, we sketched dozens of versions, fine-tuning everything from the curve of the horns to the angle of the outstretched arm, even refining skeletal textures. The most meticulous part was the coloring: a pure white crown gradually transitioning to a bright yellow arm, with an energetic orange in between — vibrant yet not harsh, like dressing the skeleton in a gradient jacket. Finally, we hand-polished every edge to ensure all details were smooth and scratch-free, so this PVC figure would be as satisfying to hold as it was to display.

The finished miniature action figure became an instant highlight in offices and homes: kids turned it into an “Adventure Captain,” inventing all sorts of world-saving adventures; collectors adored its details — the tiny bumps on the horns, the natural gradient transitions, and even the subtle articulation of the arm joint; even our pickiest designer friend remarked, “This isn’t just a regular PVC toy — it’s a piece of art!”
